In my recent tutorial (here) I had a lot of questions on how to do things like 'set to screen' and 'duplicate layers' in gimp. I therefore made this walk-through of it which shows the basics for gimp. I do not consider myself an expert in any way but this will be good for those who are just starting out on gimp. This is basically just step by step of my last tutorial which can be seen here.  I hope that someone finds this tut helpful because it took me FOREVER!
